Artist's Comments

Yea!!! I finally finished this!!!!

This is my entry for :iconshinike: contest. We are suppose to draw her OC Myoko, so that's the girl in the picture.

Shinike is one of my Fav artist on DA, not to mention a fellow Texan so i put i lot of effort into this picture.

I would have to say that by far this is my best picture ever using Photoshop. I have finally started figuring out how to use the different brushes.

I am very happy with how this came out, you guys know how bad i am at drawing OC's, but this picture came out awesome.

No problem. Glad I could be of assistance! :) I have noticed that you haven't submitted much art recently. I was actually quite glad that when I opened up my message board... thing, that you had posted. I bet you've been busy with school and such.

Ah the grass brush, what a wonderful invention. Very good job with the perspective. I would add another level of shadow to this pic. Especially with this perspective, her lower half would probably be shaded more. Also considering it's night try to get some bluish/grayish tints in there as well. You're taking big strides in your artwork. Keep it up.

Thanks, i agree with you on the shadows and colors, i had not planned out what i was going to do for a background so when i decided to do a night background i should have changed her color layout and added more shadows. But over all i really am happy with it, and thanks for the helpful comment.
